Hey guys,

I recently started collecting vinyl about roughly for about 2 years now (I'm an amateur and ignorant on the subject still), but my record player (a sony PS-LX250H belt drive) is beginning to have problems. After not playing it for quite sometime (I moved, and you all know how unpacking and resituating goes) - the records are being played at a much slower speed. All the controls and settings are correct - but I'm curious as to if the problem lies in the belt being stretched out, and it's not spinning the plate fast enough, or something else! I'm torn between just buying a direct-drive, and getting rid of this - or maybe I can replace the belt? HELP. The sound is undesireable and to make matters worse I just bought some new vinyls to listen to and I CAN'T!

My e-mail is shredofmartyrs@gmail.com
any help is appreciated

Jeff
