Just completed and playing for the first time. They're a small floorstanding 2.5-way using two 7" Scan Speak Revelator woofers. The upper woofer is a four ohm, the lower one is an eight ohm. The tweeter is a Scan Speak Air Circ. Even with an hour of break in time thsese speakers are sooooo easy to listen to.

I decided to build a pair of speakers using premium drivers after comparing my RS180 Modula MT standmounts to a friend's similar size standmounts which were using the best Eton woofer with a Accuton ceramic tweeter. The drivers in my friend's speakers cost ten times the price of the Dayton RS drivers in the Modula MT, but they are worth every penny of it. This experience made it clear to me why some people will spend thousands on a small standmount speaker pair. Of course I wanted something with bigger balls than a mini monitor, so I called Rick Craig and told him what I wanted, and a couple of weeks later the plans and parts started arriving.

Wayne, will we have a 2009 LSAF? I believe I'll bring these and set up an audition room.
