As for identification, that's where knowing what tubes are inside will help. Knowing what tubes are inside will set the date within a few years, and will also help locate the schematic. I'll look through my Emerson schematics and see what I can find.

About the grille cloth and knobs, a lot of the older radios were made in many different styles. This was a different time, when things were hand-made. They had different wood and styles available. Sometimes even different cabinets shapes were used.

You should look at the selection of grille cloths and wood knobs at Antique Electronic Supply, www.TubesAndMore.com. You'll find some that will match very well.
