Sure, you can put the woodhorn in top. Just retain the same distance between woofer and tweeter as shown in the plans. It isn't as bad to decrease the distance between them as it is to increase it, so just be sure not to make the tweeter too far away. If you mount the tweeter externally on top, move the woofer up in the box to retain the same distance as shown in the plans.
