Out of curiosity and the lack of understanding, would you please explain my questions that follow?

Not only in reference to your new dual voice coil 12" woofer, when wiring the two 8 ohm coil in series, but a dual coil woofer in general, what is the over all outcome.

1. Will the Qts rise significantly?

2. If the Qts rises, will the VAS be effected.

3. Will a change in Impedance, 16 ohms in this case, along with Qts, and VAS, change the efficiency of this driver? And how will the efficiency change effect a tube amplifiers performance when driving this speaker, if any efficiency change indeed happens?

4. And finally, how will all of the effects summized above change the over all box design, tuning and size?

Looking forward to your answers when you have time.
